Constructed with a durable steel channel and internal spring mechanism, this balance delivers reliable, long-lasting performance for residential window applications. The mill finish housing provides strength and durability, while common stamped numbers such as 1360 or 13F help confirm compatibility with existing balances.

All sash weights are based on using two balances per movable sash. For optimal performance and to prevent uneven tension or binding, it is strongly recommended to replace balances in pairs. While some balances include winged end caps, this standard version can also be used in applications where winged balances were previously installed.
